Upcoming in September and October 2013 –
Rick Harrell and Dr. Lynne Morrow are planning Workshops for Veterans at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System Campus in Menlo Park, CA. VA Music Therapists, Beth Hardy and Kristin Grillo will also be facilitating the workshops. Some of the music and poetry created in these workshops may be performed for Veterans and their families on Veteran’s Day in November. In addition, we are working towards including facilitators from another San Francisco based service organization, Musiciancorps, in the fall workshops. This cooperative venture between Heroes’ Voices, Musiciancorps and the VA can serve as a model for future collaborative ventures. We are also in planning stages for future workshops at the VA Menlo Park facility in February, 2014.
